The 140th anniversary of Mamed Emin Rasulzade will be celebrated at the state level
Baku/12/31/23/Turan: On December 30, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed orders “On holding the 140th anniversary of Mamed Emin Rasulzadeh”.
According to the order, January 2024 will mark the 140th anniversary of prominent social and political figure Mahammad Amin Rasulzade, who was one of the founders of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-20 гг) and served as the Chairman of the Azerbaijan National Council.
The head of state instructed
the Ministry of Culture, together with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, to prepare and implement a plan of events dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Mamed Emin Rasulzade.—06c-

The health condition of activist Nijat Ibrahim has sharply worsened while he remains in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan news agency. On Sunday, November 5, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
