Baku/02.05.23/Turan: Five more specially trained dogs have been delivered to Azerbaijan to search for mines, the head of the Azerbaijani National Agency for Mine Clearance (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov told journalists. He recalled that in 2021 an agreement was signed with the US Marshal Heritage Institute, under which dogs trained to search for mines were sent to Azerbaijan. The last 5 dogs stipulated by this agreement have arrived now.

In total, the Marshall Heritage Institute announced the donation of 70 dogs trained to search for mines to Azerbaijan.

*After the cessation of hostilities in Karabakh on November 10, 2020, as a result of the explosion of mines laid by the Armenian Armed Forces, 299 Azerbaijani military and civilians were injured, including 55 killed, 244 received injuries of varying degrees. ---03B06--
