The American Institute delivered 5 more mine-detecting dogs to Azerbaijan
Baku/02.05.23/Turan: Five more specially trained dogs have been delivered to Azerbaijan to search for mines, the head of the Azerbaijani National Agency for Mine Clearance (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov told journalists. He recalled that in 2021 an agreement was signed with the US Marshal Heritage Institute, under which dogs trained to search for mines were sent to Azerbaijan. The last 5 dogs stipulated by this agreement have arrived now.
In total, the Marshall Heritage Institute announced the donation of 70 dogs trained to search for mines to Azerbaijan.

On February 3, the trial of public activist Nijat Ibrahim will begin in the Baku Serious Crimes Court. This decision was made on Wednesday at a preparatory hearing by Judge Aygun Gurbanova. According to lawyer Zibeida Sadigova, Ibrahim was taken to court in handcuffs. There were guards sitting next to him throughout the whole process.
