The court did not release the general under house arrest
Baku/20.04.21/Turan: On Tuesday, the Baku Military Court rejected a petition to change the preventive measure, the arrest of Lieutenant General Rovshan Akperov for house arrest, Turan was told in the court.
The former commander of the Baku Corps of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Rovshan Akperov, was dismissed from the army in 2020.
On March 16 this year, he was arrested on charges of murder in 2002 in Kiev.
In 1995, he was awarded the title of Hero of Azerbaijan for suppressing an armed rebellion of the Special Police Detachment in Baku. -0-
