The entire leadership of Armenia is going to Moscow
Baku/28.11.20/Turan: On November 27, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev held a meeting in Moscow with the head of the Russian Regional Academy (CSTO-EAEU) in Armenia, Artur Bagdasaryan. The parties "discussed the situation in Karabakh and the issues of deepening relations between the two countries", RIA Novosti reported.
In particular, the parties considered the problems of regional and global security, mechanisms and directions for the development of cooperation in the light of new realities. The importance of the implementation of agreements related to the ceasefire in Karabakh, the demarcation of borders, the return of prisoners, the search for the missing, the preservation of cultural heritage and the protection of monuments was noted. The importance of the development of humanitarian, socio-economic, research and educational cooperation was emphasized.
It is noteworthy that Patrushev discussed such serious issues with Armenian officials who did not have the authority to do so. It is also noteworthy that Patrushev generally received him at his Security Council. Therefore, this fact can be viewed as Moscow's desire to see Baghdasaryan in a high post in Yerevan.
Armenian President Armen Sarkissian left for Moscow today on a "private visit". His program includes meetings with the Armenian diaspora and Russian officials. In two days, Prime Minister Pashinyan will also pay a visit to Moscow, who will hold meetings at the highest level. It can be expected that the issues of forming a new government of Armenia and including in it the maximum number of pro-Russian personnel will be resolved.
Judging by the fact that Pashinyan has already appointed Vagharshak Harutyunyan, a weak and pro-Russian military, as Minister of Defense, Armenia is ready to coordinate its foreign and domestic policies with the Kremlin. -02В-
