The EU and Azerbaijan sign agreement on readmission
Baku/28.02.14/Turan : On Friday the EU and Azerbaijan signed an agreement in Brussels on readmission.
On the part of Azerbaijan the agreement was signed by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the EU, Fuad Isgandarov. Earlier, in November last year the sides signed an agreement on visa facilitation.
The readmission agreement provides mutual obligations of the parties to return illegal migrants, including those who came from third countries through their territory. This agreement was a condition for the commencment of the document on visa facilitation between the EU and Azerbaijan. -16D-
