Baku / 02.10.20 / Turan: The European Union will provide first emergency aid for 500 thousand euros to the civilian population affected in the Nagorno-Karabakh region on both sides of the front line, said the representative of the European Commission for crisis management Janez Lenarcic.
He noted that the EU "stands in solidarity with all victims of the violence and is ready to provide further humanitarian assistance if human suffering continues."
EU funding will help provide medical care, medical equipment, food and other emergency care to several thousand people. -02D-
