The first meeting of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement will be held in Baku
Baku/17.05.22/Turan: In June 2022, the first meeting of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement is planned to be held in Baku, sSpeaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova announced today at a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Ulana Primova.
She invited representatives of the legislative body of Kyrgyzstan to take part in the said event.
The parties also discussed issues in the areas of political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, inter-parliamentary interaction between the two countries.
In 2016, by unanimous decision of all countries participating in the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijan was elected as the chairman of the organization for 2019-2022. Subsequently, a decision was made to extend the chairmanship of Azerbaijan in the Movement for another year.—06B-
