Baku/18.06.21/Turan: At a press conference with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei, Sergei Lavrov called "rumors” the information about the creation of a Turkish military base in Azerbaijan.
"We did not discuss this issue, and we do not comment on the rumors," TASS quotes Lavrov.
Russia is closely following the information on the possible creation of a Turkish military base in Azerbaijan, in turn, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said today.
"Of course, this is a matter of our close attention," said a Kremlin spokesman, commenting on the relevant information.
