The issue of the production of Russian vaccines in Azerbaijan is being considered
Baku/16.04.21/Turan: More than 100 thousand doses of the Sputnik V vaccine will be delivered to Baku in the near future. In addition, the issue of the production of Russian vaccines against coronavirus in Azerbaijan is being considered, TASS reported referring to the chair of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko at a meeting with the speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova on Friday on the sidelines of the spring session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
"I know that an agreement has been reached on the supply of more than 100 thousand doses of Sputnik V vaccine in April-May, because we understand very well that the only way to really stop the pandemic is mass vaccination," Matvienko said.
The issue of the production of these vaccines in Azerbaijan is being considered, which will speed up mass vaccination and, possibly, export vaccines to other countries, she said.
According to Matvienko, it is important that mass vaccination is taking place in all countries, so that you can freely communicate and "visit each other." - 06D-
