The Kremlin is ready to mediate between Baku and Yerevan, Peskov
Moscow/14.07.20/Turan: The Kremlin is deeply concerned about the shootings on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, calling on the parties to restraint and ceasefire, said presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“We are deeply concerned about the shootings on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. We urge both sides to restraint and to comply with their obligations under the ceasefire,” RIA-Novosti quotes Peskova.
“Russia is ready to render its mediation efforts for the settlement as a co-chair of the Minsk Group. You know that there were intensive telephone contacts between Foreign Minister Lavrov and his colleagues from Baku and Yerevan. Therefore, we once again call on both sides to restraint," he added. -02D-
