The lawyer Aslan Ismailov is detained
At 18 o'clock in front of the Chief Department to Combat Organized Crime (CDCOC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the employees of the Narimanov Police detained a lawyer, Aslan Ismailov, put him in the car, and drove away.
From the Narimanov Police Ismailov called to Turan agency, and said that if in every hour they do not receive calls from him, it should be treated as a violence against him.
Ismailov arrived to the CDCOC to provide moral support for the arrested blogger, Rashad Agaddin, arrested on May 9.
Previously he held a press conference at which he stated that a detainee was charged of drug possession, and is not permitted to meet with his lawyer Rovsan Shirinov, and called on the public to support the defense.
At 17:00 Shirinov entered the building of the CDCOC to meet with the client. Rashad Agaddin is known for his sharp criticism of the government in the social network facebook. -04С-

On January 15, the Yasamal District Court rejected the motion to change the detention measure for Azer Gasymly, the director of the Institute of Political Management, his lawyer, Agyl Laidj, to Turan. "Azer Gasymly stated during the trial that the charges against him were fabricated and related to his socio-political activities," the lawyer said.
