The military departments of Azerbaijan and Turkey strengthen military-technical cooperation
Baku/28.09.21/Turan: The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov received the Deputy Minister of Defense of Turkey Muhsin Dere, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The parties discussed issues of developing joint military production and exchange of experience, and the holding joint military exercises.
On the same day, Muhsin Dere was received by the Chief of the General Staff Kerim Valiyev and the Chief of the Logistics Department of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Nizam Osmanov.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, at the meeting the sides discussed the prospects for the adoption of the latest weapons and other military equipment produced by Turkey on the basis of advanced technologies for the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. During the mentioned period, the police found 1 machine gun, 50 grenades, 7 fuses, 3 shells and 320 cartridges of different calibre in Shusha.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
