The Ministry of Defense published an updated list of martyrs
Baku/22.12.20/Turan: The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan published new information about the soldiers who died during the second Karabakh war and those buried before December 21.
In the updated list, there names of 2802 soldiers (was 2783). In addition, a search is currently underway for about 40 missing servicemen. Along with this, more than 60 persons are being identified, whose identity has not yet been established. The list of servicemen who died as martyrs in the Patriotic War was published on the website of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. -0-

In Azerbaijan, there is a need to adopt an Amnesty Act, said Siyavush Novruzov, the head of the parliamentary committee on regional issues, during a session of the Milli Majlis on February 3. He reminded that since independence, Azerbaijan has adopted 13 amnesty acts and over 70 pardoning decrees. "The parliament can once again put forward such an initiative and prepare an amnesty act by Independence Day (May 28)," Novruzov said.
