The “Nizami” Cinema Center refused to screen Mel Gibson's films
Baku/27.10.20/Turan: The “Nizami” Cinema Center in Baku condemned the biased statements of the American actor, film director and producer Mel Gibson about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In this regard, the cinema refused to further show films with his participation.
"On October 26, American actor and film director Mel Gibson made a publication in support of the separatist regime created in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh.
This publication shows that Gibson has no idea about the history and modernity of Azerbaijan, the almost 30-year occupation of the Azerbaijani lands by Armenia, the Khojaly genocide, and other countless atrocities of the Armenians in the Azerbaijani territories, and, unfortunately, knows nothing about the Azerbaijani people and their patriotism", the message says.
The Nizami Cinema Center notes that it perceives the publication of the American actor as support for the occupation and terror, and will not accept any films with his participation in the future. -06D-
