The process of opening communications between Armenia and Azerbaijan has begun - I. Aliyev
Baku/06.10.21/Turan: Azerbaijan is ready to normalize relations with Armenia and does not exclude the active participation of the European Union in this, President Ilham Aliyev said on Wednesday at a meeting with the new head of the EU mission in Azerbaijan, Peter Mikhalko. He called it important to ensure peace in the region in the post-war period.
“We want to improve relations with Armenia and are ready to start negotiations to sign a peace treaty, conduct border delimitation, open communications, and this process has partially begun,” Aliyev said.
According to him, the EU, which shows such a desire, can take an active part in this. -02D-
