The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan did not receive an official request from the Russian Federation in the case of the downed helicopter
Baku / 05.01.20 / Turan: The head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, Gunay Salimzadeh, told Turan that there was no official request from the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia regarding the downed helicopter.
"The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan has not received any official request from the Russian official bodies regarding the criminal case on the downed Russian military helicopter, so we cannot say anything about the press releases about Russia's request," she said.
Recall that the Nakhchivan Military Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Article 342.2 on November 10 of 2020 (negligence in service - the death of two or more people through negligence, or during a war or hostilities). Sources in the prosecutor's office do not report on the progress of the investigation, referring to the secrecy of the investigation.
