The prosecutor's office rejected the version of the helicopter crash as a result of outside interference
Baku/30.11.21/Turan: The investigation excludes the likelihood of a crash of a military helicopter of the State Border Service (GPS) of Azerbaijan as a result of any outside interference, press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.
The message indicates that the Mi-17 helicopter took off at about 10 am on November 30 in order to carry out combat training flights. As a result of the helicopter crash, 14 people were killed, two more were wounded.
At this stage, the investigation rules out the version of the catastrophe as a result of outside interference.
At the same time, the message emphasizes that "at present, the assumptions that the causes of the disaster could not have been the pilot's caution, a technical malfunction in the helicopter, weather conditions, and all possible other versions are being thoroughly checked."
The scene of the incident was examined by employees of the Prosecutor General's Office and the State Border Service with the participation of experts in the field of forensic ballistic, forensic fire and forensic medical examinations.
A specialist brought in from the Ministry of Defense is examining the seized "black box" of the helicopter, the message reads.
At the same time, the investigation team, consisting of specialists from the General Prosecutor's Office, the Military Prosecutor's Office and the State Border Service, interrogated the victims of the helicopter crash, Emil Jafarov and Ramin Adilov.
