The State Security Service is looking for provocateurs calling for Iranian troops to enter Nakhchivan
Baku/07.11.22/Turan: The State Security Service of Azerbaijan has launched an investigation into "provocative" information in social networks regarding the situation in the Nakhchivan region. This is stated in the message of the State Security Service on Monday, November 7.
This is a story on Youtube with an "appeal" on behalf of socalled "Nakhchivan People's Movement of Iran".
The story, on behalf of the residents of Nakhchivan, says that "due to the fault of the authorities of Nakhchivan, local residents are experiencing serious difficulties, and for this reason" they want to voluntarily join to Iran and deploy the Iranian army in Nakhchivan.
The State Security Service believes that "such a provocation is spread by well-known circles that take a hostile position towards Azerbaijan," the statement says.
It should be noted that the story was immediately shown by the Iranian Sahar TV channel, which traditionally takes an openly hostile position towards Azerbaijan. -0-
