The US allocates new military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $2 billion, and Europe - Leopard tanks
Baku/24.02.23/uran: The US administration announced a new package of assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $ 2 billion. The new package will include ammunition for HIMARS and drones. The equipment will not be transferred from the Pentagon warehouses, but will be ordered to manufacturers.
The package also includes shells for 155 mm artillery installations, CyberLux K8, Switchblade 600, Altius-600 and Jump 20 drones, as well as equipment for detecting drones and means for electronic warfare, mine clearance, communication equipment.
The US Department of Defense also issued a statement by Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin in connection with the anniversary of the entry of Russian troops into Ukraine. According to him, the United States provided $32 billion in military aid to Ukraine over the year, and allies provided another $20 billion.
Meanwhile, Polish media reported that the first 4 German-made Leopard2 tanks arrived in Ukraine from Poland. In total, Poland will give Ukraine 14 such tanks. This will be announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during his visit to Kiev today.
