The war will stop as soon as the Armenian troops leave the occupied territories
Baku / 30.09.20 / Turan: “We have been patiently waiting for the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict for 30 years. We have been told - be patient. However, the new Prime Minister of Armenia put forward seven conditions to us, but we rejected them as unacceptable.
I have one demand - unconditional and complete liberation of the occupied territories. If it is fulfilled, the hostilities will be suspended, peace will be restored, the bloodshed will stop,” Aliyev said on September 30 when visiting the wounded soldiers in the hospital.
“Fierce battles are going on now, there are casualties and wounded on our side. However, the law is on our side. We are fighting for the liberation of our lands. If the international community cannot stop the aggressor, then Azerbaijan and its soldiers will. The liberation of the occupied territories is our right. International principles give us this right,” Aliyev said.
According to him, from the first days of the outbreak of hostilities, he instructed the military not to shoot at civilians and objects. “Our targets are military installations, positions, equipment and manpower. However, the Armenian side, faithful to its criminal actions, is shelling our settlements, where civilians are dying,” Aliyev emphasized.-0-
