The water crisis in Khankendi exacerbates
Baku/13.08.21/Turan: The water crisis has broken out in the former capital of Nagorno-Karabakh, the city of Khankendi. Earlier, due to water shortage, car washes and recreation areas have been closed. Now the local authorities are calling on the population to collect water from neighboring areas and carry it to Khankendi. In particular, such an appeal was made to the residents of Askeran, the "Caucasian Knot" reports.
Note that local authorities refer to the hot weather and drying -up of the rivers as a reason of the crisis. At the same time, water is delivered to the population by trucks.
According to the same source, water is supplied to residential buildings with long breaks and without pressure. That's why the water does not rise above the second floor. -02D-
