Three sick Armenians transported through Lachin road to Armenia
Baku/30.12.22/Turan: Three sick Armenians were transported from Karabakh to Armenia through the Lachin corridor with the mediation of the Red Cross on 30 December. No problems were reported.
A day earlier, four trucks of peacekeepers had passed unhindered along the Lachin road from Armenia to Khankandi.
The Armenian side continues to claim that the Azerbaijanis are blocking the road, not allowing anyone through. The civil activists' action is ongoing for the 19th day on this road due to the illegal exploitation of natural resources by the Karabakh separatists. The protesters do not let military cargo and raw materials from the gold mines through.
All other transport, goods and people can move freely. Armenians refuse to recognise the new regime on the Lachin road and in fact boycott it, describing this as a blockade by Azerbaijanis. -02B-
