Turkey Ready to Increase Combat Readiness of Azerbaijani Army - Hulusi Akar
Baku / 27.08.20 / Turan: Turkey will do everything to protect its interests in the region, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said during a meeting with the editors of the Anadolu agency on Thursday.
Hulusi Akar further strongly condemned the provocative actions of Armenia on the border with Azerbaijan. The Minister stressed that Ankara is ready to make a contribution to the improvement of the combat training of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
“Azerbaijan and Turkey are one nation and two states. This is a fraternal people for us. Turkey has been and will be on the side of Azerbaijan,” Akar said.
The Turkish Defense Minister noted that the Armenian side comes out with absurd and groundless attacks not only against Azerbaijan, but also Turkey. “Historical events are clearly reflected in archival materials. Bias will get them nowhere,” he said. -02D-
