Turkey will continue to support the people of Azerbaijan - Erdogan
Baku/09.12.20/Turan: In the evening of December 9, Turkish President Erdogan arrived in Baku on a two-day visit. He will take part in the Victory Parade on December 10 in Baku together with Ilham Aliyev.
Before leaving for Ankara, Erdogan told reporters that the Azerbaijani army had carried out a successful operation to liberate the historical lands. The determination and leadership skills of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the heroism of the Azerbaijani military, are the main factors of the Victory.
Turkey will continue to support fraternal Azerbaijan, the Turkish leader stressed.
“On my behalf and on behalf of the Turkish people, I congratulate the brothers in Azerbaijan. I express my condolences to the relatives and friends of those who fell for their native Karabakh, I wish the wounded soonest recovery,” the Turkish leader said.
According to Erdogan, the Turkish side will be close to Azerbaijan in the issue of restoring the lands liberated from the Armenian occupation. “We will help the brotherly country in the process of creating a new infrastructure,” the president said.
One of the topics of the talks in Baku will be joint steps to combat the new type of coronavirus pandemic, the president added. -02В-
