Turkish President does not believe in Russian aggression against Ukraine
Baku/18.01.22/Turan: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the scenario of the occupation of Ukraine by Russia far from reality. “Ukraine is a strong state. To take such a step, Moscow must analyze the situation in the world and within the country," Anadolu news agency quoted Erdogan as saying. The Turkish President also said that he would discuss the situation in Ukraine with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who visited Kiev the day before.
"I will talk with Ilham Aliyev. Of course, it is important to discuss these issues with Putin. These regions can no longer put up with war. This is wrong. It is time to completely remove the war scenario from the political agenda," Erdogan said in an interview with reporters.
The desire to occupy foreign lands will not lead to the desired. "What steps did Russia take in Ukraine, in Crimea? She invaded Crimea. During every conversation with Putin, I declare that Turkey is against the occupation of Crimea," Erdogan said. -02D-
