Two Azerbaijani soldiers wounded in Aghdam direction
Baku/19.09.23/Turan: Two Azerbaijani servicemen were injured as a result of shelling by Armenian formations in the Aghdam direction. The Azerbaijani armed forces took retaliatory measures, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports.
"On September 19, at about 11:45, the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the Aghdam region were fired from mortars and small arms of various calibers of the Armenian armed forces on the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed," the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
It ought to be noted that the Ministry of Defense emphasizes that we are talking about the armed forces of Armenia, and not about the military formations of Karabakh. -06B-
