US Congress will discuss trafficking situation in Azerbaijan
The US Congress Foreign Affairs Committee will take a hard look this week at human trafficking situation in a number of countries, including Azerbaijan, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, TURAN's correspondent was informed by the organizers.
The hearing will address questions such as whether the governments should be promoted to Tier 2, or demoted to Tier 3 in the State Department's 2013 Trafficking in Persons Report.
Among the witnesses are Mark Lagon, Former Ambassador-at-Large for Trafficking in Persons, Mr. Brian Campbell, Director of Policy and Legal Programs at International Labor Rights Forum ant others. -25В-
