US offers Armenia to withdraw Russian military base from country
Baku/17.06.23/Turan: If Yerevan agreed to deploy a CSTO mission, then Armenia "would get a more stable situation."
This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the Tsargrad TV channel.
To his thinking, Armenia abandoned this at the very last moment, when the document had already been agreed upon at the level of Foreign Ministers.
Besides, Lavrov hinted that the United States and its allies, who are trying to stir up the situation, are counteracting this.
“They want it and are actively making it happen. I know that they say to the Armenians (we have such information), come to us, drive the Russians out of your territory, and the border guards too, remove the military base, the Americans will help ensure security. This is an outright provocation." -0-
