Vaunted Icaze-e.gov.az System Crashes
Baku / 20.06.20 / Turan: On the eve of a two-week hard quarantine, media workers are required to register on the icaze-e.gov.az portal by sending their employees' data there.
Turan also tried to register, but the request remained unanswered.
In addition, the specified portal is not integrated into the existing e-gov.az system, which already has all the data of legal entities' employees.
Therefore, to register on icaze-.gov.az, you have to enter all the data again and manually.
However, these are not all “surprises”. So you can go through registration, but then get a refusal.
This happened today with photojournalist Aziz Karimov. He successfully registered, but after 5 minutes received a notification of refusal.
All this causes a reasonable suspicion that the authorities are trying to limit the work of the independent press during quarantine days, trying to blame everything on technical problems. -0-
