�Velvet Revolution� Heading to Karabakh?
Yerevan / 31.05.18 / Turan: The initiative Luys Artsakhin was created in Karabakh, which is intended to unite the population"s efforts with the aim of displacing local authorities. The author of the initiative is the former deputy of the parliament Vahan Badasyan. The member of the initiative group is Vachik Balasanyan, the brother of the secretary of the so-called "Security Council of Karabakh" Vitaly Balasanyan. This was reported by the Armenian edition of Aravot today.
Commenting on this message, the representative of the Republican Party ruling in Armenia until recently, Vahram Baghdasaryan, made it clear that violation of stability in Karabakh could lead to territorial losses.
An international expert on the Caucasus, who asked to remain unnamed, told Turan that Vahan Badasyan is the leader of the Dashnak party of Nagorno-Karabakh. He has repeatedly criticized the government of Serzh Sargsyan. In particular, he accused the official Yerevan of sending Karabakh soldiers to Armenia to suppress anti-government statements.
He also criticized the current separatist leader Bako Sahakyan for obedient execution of the will of the rulers of Yerevan.-02D-
