Victory Parade Starts in Baku
Baku / 10.12.20 / Turan: At 13:00 on the main square of the capital of Azerbaijan, Azadlig, the Victory Parade began, dedicated to the victory of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces over Armenia in the 44-day Patriotic War (September 27 - November 9).
The parade is attended by 3,000 servicemen of the Azerbaijani army, representing all types of troops, as well as a unit of special forces of Turkey. There are hundreds of units of military equipment, the Air Force, as well as equipment captured from the Armenians during the war.
The parade is hosted by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan. -02B-

On December 13, lawyer Elchin Sadigov was denied a meeting with his client, Meydan TV journalist Aynur Elgunesh, at the Baku pre-trial detention facility -1, the lawyer himself reported to the Turan news agency. According to Sadigov, he waited at the detention facility from 14:00 to 16:40, but the journalist was not brought in for the meeting.
