Woman Killed, Three Wounded by Armenian Shelling of Barda
Baku / 05.10.20 / Turan: From the morning of October 5, Armenian forces resumed artillery and rocket attacks on densely populated areas in the Goranboy, Goygol, Beylagan, Barda, Terter and Zardab regions of Azerbaijan, as well as the city of Ganja.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, a local resident, Shahriyar Mehdiyeva, died as a result of shelling in Barda. Another 3 people received bodily injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized.
On the fact, the prosecutor's office of the Barda region opened a criminal case under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. Infrastructure in other areas has suffered serious damage.
The total number of killed civilians of Azerbaijan in entire Nagorno-Karabakh has reached 24 people, and the number of wounded is 124 people. -16D-

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
