Yerevan and Baku have reached agreement on all fundamental issues – Alain Simonyan
Baku/28.11.23/Turan: A peace treaty with Azerbaijan can be signed within 15 days, Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan told reporters on Tuesday.
"If you wish, you can sign a peace treaty in the next 15 days, if the Azerbaijani authorities really show political will. An agreement has been reached on all fundamental issues based on international law and the principle of equality," Simonyan said.
He also said that there is currently no agreement on a meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, Armenia is ready to discuss such a proposal.
Touching upon the topic of enclaves, Simonyan noted that there are no specifics, but there will be a solution.
"I can't say anything concrete, but if there are legal bases, then we are ready to return their enclaves to them, and they should return our Artsvashen," Simonyan said. But this, according to him, is not the final decision. Simonyan did not rule out that perhaps "everything that is on this side of the border will remain here, what is on that side is there." -02D-
