118 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected in Azerbaijan
Baku / 18.01.21 / Turan: Over the past day, 118 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 503 people have recovered, 13 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on January 18.
The total number of infected reached 227 391, including 215 771 recovered, 3 022 died, 8598 active patients continue treatment.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,321,592 tests have been carried out for coronavirus, including 3,399 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
