Afghan Sadigov gstarts a dry hunger strike
Baku/23.11.20/Turan: On the 20th day of the hunger strike the head of the Azel.Tv website, Afgan Sadigov, who is in prison, refused to take fluids, reported his wife Sevinj Sadigova.
According to her, A. Sadigov's condition is serious.
“I spoke with Afgan on the phone. He said that if he feels well, he would call again tomorrow,” said S. Sadigova.
She intends to get a meeting with her husband this week.
A. Sadygov also protests against the denial by the Penitentiary Service of his hunger strike.
It was not possible to obtain comments from the Penitentiary Service.
* Afghan Sadigov was arrested on charges of extortion through threats in May this year. On November 3, the court sentenced him to seven years in prison. He went on a hunger strike on November 4 to protest the sentence. — 16D-
