Azerbaijani Soldier Destroys Seven Enemy Tanks
Baku / 13.10.20 / Turan: A soldier of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Huner Mammadov with colleagues Elvin Madatov and Rufat Asadullayev destroyed seven tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle, one vehicle with shells and ammunition and two observation posts of the enemy during the hostilities. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, publishing a photo of the soldier.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
