Criminal Case of Mass Poisoning in Restaurant
Baku / 21.08.18 / Turan: A criminal investigation has been opened on the fact of mass poisoning in the restaurant Tongal in Baku, the Prosecutor General's Office said.
The case of poisoning of 13 people was the reason for the joint investigation of the Food Safety Agency and the Prosecutor General's Office. The criminal case was initiated under Article 314.2 (negligence of officials, which has led to grave consequences). Experts have been appointed to determine the cause of the poisoning.
Recall that on August 11 at the restaurant Tongal, which in the Narimanov district of the capital, 13 people were poisoned, including young children. They were placed in the Medical Clinical Center and Children's Clinical Hospital No.2.
