"Disappeared" PFPA activist arrested for 30 days (UPDATED)

Baku / 19.08.20 / Turan: Orkhan Salimzade, an activist of the Popular Front Party who disappeared the night before, was arrested for 30 days, the family of the activist  learned it from the Binagadi pre-trial detention center, where the family turned on the recommendation of the 37th police station. In turn, the family turned to the 37th department on the recommendation of the "hot line of the Ministry of Internal Affairs 102".

However, none of these structures explained to the family what Selimzade had done, what law did he break? This method has already become a classic, when the police grab people on the streets and arrest them without explanation. PFPA Member “Disappeared”

Baku / 19.08.20 / Turan: A member of the Popular Front Party Orkhan Selimzadeh disappeared, members of his family told Turan. According to them, he stopped communicating from 19:00 on 18 August.

“His mobile number was disconnected and he did not return home after work. We reported 102 to the service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but there are no results,” said his family members.

The party itself believes that Selimzadeh is most likely arrested, like dozens of other activists of the party, who have been openly hunted for by police in recent months. -02D-
