"False traders" OF cryptocurrency detained
Baku/05.09.22/Turan: The police in Baku detained two intruders who fraudulently embezzled citizens' funds in the amount of 1 million manats.
The attackers posted ads on the Instagram social network and various news portals, offered citizens to “invest” money in cryptocurrency transactions, promising large incomes, reads the statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As a result of the operation, employees of the Main Directorate to Combat Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Rashid Bayramov and his acquaintance Vugar Aliyev.
It was established that they appropriated money of more than 100 people without making any transactions on international exchanges for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency. Bayramov and Aliyev caused about 1 million manats damage to people.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact, Bayramov and Aliyev were arrested by a court decision. --05D06--
