Police sergeant blew himself up on mine in Fizuli
Baku/27.06.22/Turan: Yesterday police sergeant Ilham Salmanov born in 1989 blew himself up on an antipersonnel land mine in Ashagy Seyidahmedli village of Fizuli region.
The incident happened when the policeman was not on duty, the Interior Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office said in a joint statement.
The victim was hospitalized with injuries of varying degrees of severity and had to have his foot amputated. There was no life-threatening situation, the statement said. -05В06-
