There are COVID-19 infected in the places of detention
Baku / 10.07.20 / Turan: Among the prisoners in the penitentiary institutions are infected with COVID-19, said at today's briefing by the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, Presidential Aide Hikmet Hajiyev.
According to him, in the jail N12, there were 11 infected, in jails N 14 – five infected, and in jail N 4 – there are two infected.
Two of these persons were released on parole and transferred for treatment to the Association for the Management of Territorial Medical Units.
Others are isolated, their treatment continues.
However, he noted that in patients from jail N4, the disease is asymptomatic.
There are cases of infection among the personnel of the Prison Service. These individuals are monitored and quarantined. — 06D-
