Three employees of "Mehnur" center are under house arrest
Baku/06.09.22/Turan: Nizami district court of Baku on Wednesday granted a proposal for house arrest of three employees of the psychologopedic center "Mehnur".
This measure was adopted against the head of the center Nurana Hajizadeh, her assistant Sabina Aliyarbeyli and psychologist Aytaj Kazimly.
A criminal case under Article 133 of the Criminal Code (torture) was initiated against them in Nizami district police department.
The investigation was launched due to the dissemination of video footage of abuse and physical violence against children with disabilities in the psychologopedic center "Mehnur".
Representatives and attorneys for those under investigation were unavailable for comment.-03B06-
