Baku / 13.12.19 / Turan: A resident of the Shamkir region, 35-year-old Khayala Orujova threw herself under a train on December 12 and died. The incident occurred at 19:20 on the Dallar-Zayam stretch.
The victim was urgently taken to the Central District Hospital, but she could not be saved, the press service of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC reported.
Law enforcement authorities do not report this incident. The reason for the suicide is not clear.-06D-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads.
