Ukrainian President Zelensky Voices Support for Israel in Wake of Hamas Attack
Baku/08.10.23/Turan: In a show of solidarity, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his unwavering support for Israel following an unprecedented attack by Hamas terrorists. Zelensky conveyed his condolences to the victims and their families while emphasizing the imperative of combating terrorism on a global scale.
"Terrible reports from Israel. My condolences to everyone whose relatives and friends were killed by the terrorist attack," President Zelensky stated. He went on to express his belief that order would be restored, and the terrorists responsible for the attack would be eradicated.
Zelensky underscored the universal condemnation of terrorism, characterizing it as a crime not only against one country or its specific victims but against humanity as a whole and the entire world. He asserted that those who employ acts of terror are infringing upon the peace of all nations, while those who support terrorism are equally complicit in undermining global peace.
"The world must be united and stand together to ensure that terrorism never attempts to subjugate or disrupt life anywhere," Zelensky stressed, advocating for a united front against terror in all its forms. He concluded his Facebook statement by confirming Israel's indisputable right to protection.
