Baku/09.02.23/Turan: The collection and dispatch of humanitarian aid for victims of the catastrophic earthquake in Turkey continues in several places of the Azerbaijani capital at once.
Turan correspondent visited the Hand Games Stadium in Sabail district on February 9 – the latest point, which is valid for only a day.
During this time, dozens of tons of aid have already been collected and sent here: warm clothes for adults and children, shoes, blankets, mattresses, tents, heaters, baby food, diapers, dry products.
The flow of help is ongoing without intermission, including ordinary citizens, servants of various organizations and enterprises. Many boxes are labeled with what is collected in them. Almost everything is new from stores and warehouses.
During the day, a huge quantity of aid has been accumulated, so it is stored on the street and then sent to the disaster zone by trucks. -02B-
