Cold war will never happen!

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan generated broad resonance in the region’s traditional media and social networks. Discussions largely focused on three areas: U.S. technological cooperation with Yerevan, strategic partnership with Baku, and the possible geopolitical consequences of America’s growing presence in the South Caucasus.

What is the purpose of the upcoming visit to Azerbaijan and Armenia by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance? This question is at the center of attention not only in Baku and Yerevan. President Donald Trump himself has outlined the goals of the planned trip.

In a gilded ceremony far from the ruins of Gaza, President Donald J. Trump unveiled what he called a new architecture for global peace: an organization he personally conceived, personally leads, and, in an unprecedented departure from modern diplomacy, personally controls.

The world continues to reel from the shock of the capture of the Venezuelan president by American special forces and cannot find answers to many questions: what next? Will the Venezuelan regime fall, will a pro-Western government emerge there? How will other powers behave: will China seize Taiwan, Russia the Baltic states, and America Greenland? The list of questions goes on, but it is clear that even Washington does not know what to expect. Baku is also shocked by what has happened, but is pretending that nothing special has happened. Although the day before, the official Baku  has expressed an opinion that international law no longer exists, but only force remains.
