Anniversary evening for Sara Oguz
On 22 December the seventieth anniversary of the famous Azerbaijani writer and artist Sara Oguz (Nasirova) was marked in the National Museum of Art under the auspices of the Public Movement "Aydinliga dogru."
Sara Oguz passed away on June 22 this year, leaving a bright trail of literary, artistic, memories of friends and admirers of her talent. The evening participants talked about her works, and a film - monologue of philosophical reflections of Sara-khanum presented by the director Shamil Najafzadeh was presented.
She is the author of such works as "Star of Hope", "Watermelon juice", "Notes from the concrete house," "Crying Bayati," "Matchmaker," "Wheel of Life", "The Age of Butterflies", "Cycle"; she began her creativity as a writer in 1978. She is the author of theater plays "Create your own fairy tale", "Come Back", "Bridge of Braves", which had a great success.
Line of nobility, generosity and purity permeates her works, creating a strong national flavor, carrier antiquity and tradition flavor.
I choose not happiness , but beauty, because it reflects the face of people, this is how philosophically the writer disclosed her creative credo. She carried this beauty through her life, inspiring people around her, and some of them became characters or heroes of her literary and philosophical reflections.
Sara Oguz was born on 29 December, 1944 in Oguz region of Azerbaijan. She was a Member of the Union of Artists and Writers, an Honored Artist.
