Exhibition of works by Bernard Buffet
On Friday in Baku opened a personal exhibition of the French artist Bernard Buffet (1928-1999). The initiator of the exhibition is the daughter of the President, Leyla Aliyeva.
At the opening ceremony, she announced that the next exhibition organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will be held in London. She did not say what kind of show it would it be.
The Heydar Aliyev Center presents 43 works by Buffet that will be on display until January 15 next year.
Bernard Buffet is an artist widely recognized for his works carrying a gloomy and melancholic mood and reflecting the atmosphere that prevailed after the Second World War. He is known for his distinctive sketch style. -02D-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality.
