Festival of Turkic Peoples in New York
The Federation of Turkish American Associations held a parade in New York City. According to the "Voice of America", the event was attended by the representative of Turkey to the EU, Egemen Bagis, Turkish Cypriot President Irsen Kichi, deputies of the Parliament of Turkey and Azerbaijan and representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora in the USA.
Participants of the rally carried banners of Turkic nations through the streets of New York. They sang folk songs and danced, and a military band played marches.
It has become a popular annual parade in New York City, which attracts thousands of people from all over America. -03D04-

Some periods in cultural history have not been deeply studied, and finding precise, detailed information in the Azerbaijani language is nearly impossible. One such period is the Qajar era, which lasted from 1794 to 1985.
