The Azerbaijan European Movement (AEM) has announced the German embassy in Baku - "Embassy of 2012." A Diploma was given by the head of AEM, Ramin Hajily, to the Charge d'Affaires of Germany in Azerbaijan, Wolfgang Moessinger. The ceremony was held on May 20 during the conference on the theme: "Dialogue between peoples".
The German Embassy was honored for active dissemination of knowledge about European values and culture. The winner was identified on the basis of the monitoring of 37 embassies and 8 international organizations.
Hajily, speaking at the conference, said that the AED is working for the European integration of Azerbaijan to foster dialogue with the peoples of Europe.
The conference heard presentations by representatives of the Western diplomatic missions.
For example, the head of the EU Delegation, Toralf Pilz, made a report, "A detailed explanation of the role of business in strengthening the dialogue between peoples," the head of the PR department of the U.S. Embassy, Victoria Sloan, gave a presentation: "The exchange of political values in the dialogue between peoples," and Wolfgang Moessinger the report: "Reconciliation through integration."
The discussions were attended by representatives of youth organizations and other NGOs in Azerbaijan. -06D -
